FUJIFILM cameras give users the option of selecting from several analog film stocks and simulated filter combinations. I checked Lightroom's preferences and my default raw parameters are Adobe Default (not Camera parameters, in which case Image 2 would look identical to Image 1, and Image 4 would look identical to Image 3 in the Develop module). FUJIFILM, in particular, is known to have some of the best JPEGs in the business, partially due to its popular analog-based film simulations. I am attaching an illustration of my problem : in this case, I would expect image 2 and 4 to look the same (a "basic" raw file) in the Develop module. The jpeg files are indeed obviously differents, but the raw files do not look the same at all. Includes vivid colors of Fuji Velvia, the muted tones of Kodachrome or the classic Ilford b&w films among many others. A user/contributor, Joao Almeida, has created a film emulation pack that is quite comprehensive. A set of presets designed to emulate some of the most used photo films of all time, build specifically for open-source RAW developer software Darktable. This script will try to locate the Darktable database files at its default location. In Darktable Disable all the unnecessary lights & sounds to better blend in. Run the uninstall script (removet3mujinpack.sh for Linux, removet3mujinpack.bat for Windows). These film simulation recipes are intended for Fujifilm Bayer sensor. When shooting twice the same scene with two different custom film simulations, I would expect the jpeg files to be differents, and the raw files to look the same in the Develop module. Darktable has many film emulation presets In reply to Camnu 3 You might try out Darktable it's a free open source app that has a preset function that can be used to emulate different films. Go to the folder where the styles were extracted. An Unofficial place for questions, discussions, tutorials, workflows and possible bug discussions about darktable. I have a Fujifilm x-pro3 and I shoot raw+jpeg with custom film simulations. I also check previous post and did not find the solution, sorry if it is very basic ! I have been investigating in the internet quite a lot but I did not find a solution to this problem yet. Although Fujifilm Superia is not one of the standard film simulations on a Fujifilm camera, Fuji still has a similar to (.
